David Rousseau

Chemist, M.Sc. - Senior Project manager - Scientific expert - Materials - Chemistry

David has over eighteen years of experience in project management, validation methods’ development and laboratory management. To this date, he has led over 3,000 files requiring over 500 different standards or protocols for clients from industries such as aerospace, civil engineering, pharmaceutical, automotive, textile, military and more.

His expertise includes, beside the usual mechanical and chemical testing, specific fields such as accelerated aging, transport simulation, juvenile products, organoleptic testing, or the evaluation of regulated dangerous goods.

David is involved in investigations and expertises related to:

- Materials (polymers, elastomers, composites, metals or wood for example)

- Design, manufacturing or use of finish products (contamination, suspicious failure or abusive use)

- Respect of technical statement scopes and procedures (during production, handling, use or storage)

His main duties include providing scientific guidance to MSEI’s clients and other stakeholders through the various stages of their projects; including the production of protocols and expertise reports.

David obtained a Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Evry Val d’Essonnes, France, in 1999. David is a voting member of standardization committees and is recognized as an expert witness in Canadian courts of law.
